Distribution of Water - توزيع المياه

يتم توزيع المياه من العين على المزارعين في قرية آقار القديمة عن طريق حساب ظل الشمس على جدار جامع القرية الموضح في الصور تحت.

Water is distributed from the spring to the farmers of old Agar village, by the use of sunshade on the wall of the village mosques indicated in the bottom of the picture.

يتم قياس الظل بواسطة عصا أو الذراع فيعطى لكل مزارع من أهالي القرية بحسب ما هو متفق عليه نسبته من الماء حتى ينتقل الظل للعلامة الأخرى وتعطى حينها الماء للمزارع الأخر وهكذا، ويتم تقسيم الماء على كل الشهر ولكل يوم من السهر تسميه خاصة به .

The shade is measured by stick or a cubit and each of the village farmers is given the quantity of water agreed upon until the shade passes on to the other mark on the basis of which water is then given to the next farmer and so on. Water is distributed every month and every day of the month has a special denomination.
